Article 88 paragraph 1 of the Telecommunications Services Ordinance (OST): “Customers on a directory have the right to have it clearly indicated that they do not wish to receive advertising messages from third parties and that their data may not be disclosed to purposes of direct advertising “.

Article 3 letter u of the Federal Law on Unfair Competition (LCSl) has been in force since 1 April 2012: “Anyone who does not respect the entry in the telephone directory with which the customer indicates that he does not wish to receive advertising messages from third parties and that the data concerning him cannot be disclosed for the purpose of direct advertising “.
